The value stack

13 things have to happen between a finished recording and an audience that knows what you stand for. Every tool below does some of them well. Not one of them gets past 5 — and none of them hands off to the next, so holding the stack together is your job, every week, for as long as you publish.

Nothing here replaces this - including us

Recording and editing

Convia Pro starts at the finished file. It does not record your guest and it does not cut your video. Whatever you use now, keep using it. If you already pay for Descript, connect your own key and the finished edit comes back into Convia Pro when it is done.

Every cell about another company was read from that company’s own documentation. Where their own pages left something genuinely unsettled, the cell says not checked rather than guessing — 12 of them do. A count of covers it is out of all 13 jobs and claims nothing about the cells we did not settle. Each tool’s own comparison page is linked from its column, including where it beats us: Castmagic, Jasper, Buffer, Metricool, Planable, PodGlue.

What the grid says

The widest single column reaches 5 of 13. Not because these are weak products — they are good at what they were built for — but because none of them was built for the whole job. The two that reach furthest barely overlap: one writes the content and the other ships it, and neither knows the other exists.

So the gap is not a missing feature. It is the seam between the tools, and the seam is where your week goes.

Convia Pro covers 12 of the 13 on the Professional plan, at $99 a month, for the 6 connected channels that plan allows. Clips it does not cut itself — it hands the recording to the clipper you already pay for and brings the candidates back. Several tools above beat us on individual rows. Those rows are in the grid too.

Where every cell came from

Each verdict below was read from that company’s own documentation, help centre or pricing page — never from a review site or a comparison roundup, because those are not the company speaking about its own product.

Some verdicts rest on a capability being absent from an otherwise complete feature list rather than on the vendor ruling it out. Those say so. Products change without telling us, so if something here is wrong, we would rather be told than be right by accident — the correction address is at the foot of this page. Convia Pro does not replace this either

The agency

Choosing which guests are worth the hour. Shaping an argument across a season. Working the relationship after the episode airs. That is judgement, and software does not have any. What Convia Pro replaces is the part of a retainer spent moving files between six tools — which is why some agencies now run their clients’ shows on Convia Pro rather than against it.

Frequently asked questions

No, and nothing on this page does. Convia Pro starts at the finished file. Whatever you record and cut with today - Riverside, Zoom, Descript, a human editor - you keep. Connect your own Descript key and the finished edit comes back into Convia Pro when it is done.

Convia Pro covers 12 of the 13 jobs outright on the Professional plan, at $99 a month. Clips come from a clipper you already pay for rather than from us, which is deliberate: you keep the tool you already like and we connect to it. Several of the tools here beat us on individual rows, and the grid shows that rather than hiding it.

Every cell was read from that company's own documentation, help centre or pricing page, and dated. Review sites and comparison roundups were not used. Where a vendor's own pages disagreed with each other, or the wording was genuinely ambiguous, the cell is marked not checked rather than guessed at - because a blank or a guess reads as a failing mark.

No. Prices change and we would be wrong within a month, so every comparison page links to the vendor's own pricing page instead. The costs on this page are what our founder personally paid for his own stack over a named period, not a claim about what anyone charges today.

One bill, one login, one voice across every output.

If you recognise your own stack in the grid above, the individual comparisons go through these tools one at a time, honestly, including where they beat us.

Capabilities on this page were last checked against each vendor’s own documentation on September 22, 2026.

We aim to highlight others fairly and accurately. If we made a mistake, email us at contact@conviapro.com.
