To be completely clear before anything else: Convia does not send your newsletter. It writes it. You send it. The draft comes from your episode, you paste it into beehiiv, and you press send. If you were hoping for one-click delivery to your list, that is not what this is, and you should know it now rather than after signing up.
With that said, this is not an either-or. beehiiv is an excellent newsletter platform and an empty one. Every week it presents you with a blank draft. If you also record a podcast, you are sitting on the raw material for that draft and probably not using it, because turning an hour of conversation into a newsletter section is real work that happens on a Sunday night when you least want to do it.
