Platform Support

What Convia Pro does on each platform - and what it doesn't.

Every capability we publish and every metric we collect, platform by platform. Where a platform doesn't offer something, we say so. Where we haven't built it yet, we say that too.

Publishing

Publishing and engagement

Publishing is direct: Convia calls each platform's own API. There are no reminders to go and post it yourself, which some competitors call publishing.

  1. 2.LinkedIn company pages and first comment on LinkedIn both run through the LinkedIn Community Management connection, which is the one path where LinkedIn permits them.
  2. 3.Instagram requires media. There is no text-only Instagram post to make.
  3. 5.X has no native article card. Links are posted in the text and X builds its own preview.
  4. 6.Bluesky shows multiple images as a grid rather than a swipeable carousel.
  5. 7.First comment is a paid-plan feature. On Instagram, Facebook and Threads it also depends on the platform granting Convia permission to comment on your behalf.
  6. 8.Instagram video always publishes as a Reel. Instagram no longer offers a separate in-feed video format.

Analytics

What each platform reports

Convia collects what a platform actually sends. Metrics that measure different things stay in different columns, and a metric a platform never reported shows a dash rather than a zero.

  1. a.YouTube shares are reported over a rolling 28-day window only. YouTube publishes no all-time share counter, so a lifetime total would be invented rather than measured.
  2. b.Instagram and Facebook report reach, not impressions. Reach counts unique people; impressions count total deliveries. Different measurements, so they stay in separate columns and are never added together.
  3. c.X requires a paid X API plan on the customer's own account for post metrics to be readable.

Why the Reach / Impressions split matters

Most tools add every platform's numbers together and show you one big figure. That figure is not measuring anything.

Instagram counts unique people. LinkedIn counts total deliveries. YouTube counts a rolling 28-day window while everyone else counts since publication. Adding them produces a number that no platform reported and that nothing in the real world corresponds to. Convia totals only what is genuinely comparable, keeps the rest side by side, and shows a dash where a platform said nothing at all.

Live today

What you can do with it

Working today for any customer on a plan that includes it.

  • One honest cross-platform total

Views, reach and impressions are measured and totalled separately, so a headline number is never a mix of things that count different events.

  • All-time performance

Lifetime totals for every connected platform, on the one basis all of them can actually report.

  • Nothing reported reads as nothing reported

A metric a platform never sent shows a dash. A real zero shows a zero. You always know which you are looking at.

  • Per-episode roll-up

Every post promoting an episode, across every platform, totalled on the episode itself.

  • Campaign and episode breakdowns

Sortable performance by campaign or by episode, with engagement rate calculated against each platform's own delivery metric.

  • Per-post detail

Open any published post and see exactly what its platform reported, including the metrics unique to that platform.

  • Platform-specific metrics kept intact

YouTube watch time, subscribers gained and lost, dislikes; LinkedIn clicks and sends. Shown per platform rather than averaged into a total they do not belong in.

  • First comment, posted for you

Put the link, the hashtags or the call to action in the first comment instead of the caption, scheduled with the post and published the moment it goes live.

  • Automatic collection

Metrics refresh on their own every 12 hours. No manual pulls, no spreadsheets.

  • Export to CSV and Excel

Take any breakdown into your own reporting. Unreported metrics export as blank cells, never as zeros.

  • Share results with guests

Guests and contributors get a read-only analytics page for the episodes they appeared on.

Coming soon

Built or near-built

Not yet generally available.

  • Track posts published outside Convia

Paste the URL of something you published elsewhere and pull its performance in alongside the rest.

  • Trends over time on more platforms

Rolling-window comparison is live for YouTube. Extending it depends on each platform exposing a windowed series.

Further out

Future roadmap

None of these is built. Naming them is deliberate: a prospect who assumes a missing capability is included will churn when they find out, and that costs more than the deal.

  • Unified inbox

Every comment, mention and reply from your connected platforms in one place, instead of eight apps and eight notification badges.

  • Reply from anywhere

Respond to a comment on any platform without leaving Convia, and see the whole thread alongside the post that started it.

  • Automated responses

Answer the questions you get asked constantly, in your own voice, with a human in the loop before anything goes out.

  • Audience and follower growth

Convia measures published content, not the account behind it. Follower counts over time, audience demographics and account-level reach are not collected today.

  • LinkedIn company and showcase page analytics

Page analytics use a separate LinkedIn endpoint family from personal posts, and are not wired up.

  • Facebook ad performance

Paid campaign spend, cost per result and ad-level attribution. Convia reads organic performance only.

  • Live video analytics

Concurrent viewers, peak audience and retention curves during a live broadcast.

  • Podcast download analytics

Episode downloads and listener numbers from podcast hosting, alongside social performance.

  • Benchmarking between episodes

Compare an episode against your own back catalogue to see what actually moved.

  • Stories

Instagram and Facebook Stories are not supported for publishing or measurement.
